One of the main joys i have in the world

As i have said earlier I am goign to post at least once a week to this blog. I know I set this up to display my artwork and what I do for relay for life, but there is a reason for this madness. A month ago i got an email from my Aunt in New Mexico (love ya liz) asking if i was ok and if anything was wrong. I use to post to my journal on deviant art but i haven't posted there since October 2007. As anyone who knows me in real life i had alot of problems I had to slowly get over.

But finally I am back to my regular self :). I am back on the regular Paxil medication for my depression and am finally producing art on a regular basis.

Today's journal I wanted to show off one of the many things that keeps me sane and that i love. It is working with live music in Second Life.

Over the past two years I've worked with various artist and clubs. Its just amazing how much musical talent there is on this earth. How you can put feelings and ideas to song or musical note. It really amazes me. I originally started working with live music by providing security at various events (I.e. Internet trolls aka griefers thinking its fun to mess with a persons experieince). Over time i started working as a host and eventually comign up to a manager position at the first club in second life i worked at.

During these past two years, I've grown to love working with these great acts. From New Age instrumental, the Blues (which is my main love), to meeting some damn great female perofrmers (Freestar Tammas and Juel Resistance to name a few).

The current club im working at Urbanity has been my home for about a year and a half now and and consider everyone that works there family. Im just glad as hell they put up with my nerotic attention to detail. So far we are one of the extremely popular clubs in second life for the great detail we give to each DJ and live act and to how we treat staff and our guest's. One thing that sets us apart from the other high class clubs in SL. Anyone is welcome. From Furries, Nekos, Kid avatars, and all types. Treat a person with respect and how youd like to be treated and we will do the same in kind. If not then like we had do to a few days back, your gone and will never come back to the club. :)
