As many people know in second life i am a supporter of relay for life. A couple of weeks back they had a real big carnaival event I wanted to show off pictures for. I know this is late but this is the first chance ive gotten to post.
Anyway this is the biggest event ive been to in second life. A carnival event taking up 4 entire sims. There was a lot to see there, carnival rides, gypsy caravans, race tracks. Even a live music stage.
But of course my old enemy came into the picture. The dreaded lag time. If you use second life youll know what i talk about. Try to walk one place and you take 5 min to get there. But this is one of the best events ive seen yet. Shows the dedication of everyone to help stop cancer.
Of course one of the people that helped put this event together is my friend and relay co chair Fayandria Foley. If you know her, you know she puts her all into the relay. Even guaranteed to put up some of her own lindens against how much was raised this night. She is such a strong person and i am glad to know her.
Now at the event there was a mess of stuff there to try out, Giant falling dominos, a fun house, even a gypse camp. I really wanted to take pictures of people in most of these areas but with the amount of scriped objects in the area and how many people were attending, my computer would res the area but not the people.
